In a world where personalization is becoming crucial, Turkey’s leading bank in payment systems, Garanti Bank, spearheaded the Customer Managed Relations era in credit cards with the launch of Flexi, a new credit card with highly flexible features. Fully customizable, Flexi allows cardholders to create a card with the interest rate, the reward system, the card fee and even the card design of their choice. Flexi is the first card that involves the customer in the process of card creation, giving them total control. It is a tailor made credit card, with over 9.000 different financial combination possibilities.

"As Garanti Bank, our focus has been on customer satisfaction for years... Our technological excellence allows us to design new products with tangible benefits which bring convenience to our customers’ lives.
We believe that Flexi will capture a different audience, one in search of personalized services."
said Ergun Özen, CEO of Garanti Bank, at the press conference held on February 3rd.

Speaking about the features of Flexi Card, Garanti Payment Systems
CEO Mehmet Sezgin
underlined, "After the extraordinary success of Bonus Card and Shop&Miles, we believed that the ideal credit card for any given person could only be developed by that customer him/herself. Every cardholder has different spending and payment preferences. To answer each different need, we designed Flexi Card, which enables customers
to create their ideal credit card".

During the application process on the web, applicants can manipulate over ten parameters such as the reward rate and type, interest rate, card fee, and campaign type to create their preferred combination. Customers who want a simple approach can choose to select one of the four ready made packages from the web -www.flexicard.com- or from Garanti branches.

Mehmet Sezgin adds, "What really differentiates this card from some other personalized cards in other countries is the flexibility of the reward system, both in earning and burning. Cardholders can determine not only the reward ratio and type, but also from where they prefer to get additional Bonus, be
it a merchant category like restaurants or more specifically a store like Zara. They can prefer to get more Bonus, or instead, more free installment opportunities. On the redemption side, cardholders can use their Bonus points like real cash with our famous Bonus program, or they use points
to buy plane tickets. Therefore, we believe that Flexi, with its combined financial parameters and design options, is the world’s first truly flexible card product."

Cardholders can choose from among five different color designs of Flexi. They can also choose a picture from our photo gallery, or they can use a picture of their choice, such as their newborn child, pet or favorite car, as the surface of their card. All they
need to do is to upload the picture during the application process.

The card carries the new Visa logo and offers the world’s first vertical Visa card design as well.
All the software needed for the program was developed in house by Garanti’s technology company.
